Art and Craft Day 2026

Be amazed by the creativity and craftsmanship of Vlieland during the annual Art and Craft Day! A day full of art, craftsmanship, and inspiration, where island artists and artisans open their doors to the public.

What can you expect at the Art and Craft Day?

• Open Studios and Workshops: Step inside the workspaces of artists and artisans at various locations, including studios, workshops, galleries, the museum, the church, and even private homes.
• Walk or Cycle the Route: Follow the special route map and discover over 30 participants at more than 20 locations across the island.
• Unique Art and Crafts: Admire and purchase paintings, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, textile art, and many more handmade creations.
• Recognisable Art Flags: All participating locations are marked with a special Vlieland Art Flag.

Practical Information

• Route Map and Information: Pick up a brochure with the route map at the tourist office (VVV), bike rental shops, on the ferry, or directly from the participants.
• Admission: Free – explore the island at your own pace!
