Bokkendal - Observation point

The Bokkendal lies along the Liesbeth Listpad, at the foot of the Vuurboetsduin on Vlieland. It is a quiet spot right by the lighthouse, in the middle of the dune landscape.

What can you expect at the Bokkendal?

• Right by the lighthouse: The Bokkendal is just a few steps from the lighthouse of Vlieland on the Vuurboetsduin, the highest dune of the Wadden Islands.
• Peace in the dunes: Just off the paths around the lighthouse you will find a quiet stretch of dune here, ideal for a short break.
• Views: From the higher points nearby you have a lovely view over the island, the woods and the sea.

Practical information

• Combine with: A climb up the lookout tower on the Vuurboetsduin or a visit to the Kaasbunker.

The Bokkendal is a nice stop during a walk around the Vuurboetsduin.
